This site is a tribute to Sharon Hodge, who was born in Dawlish on December 15, 1953. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Devoted Mum to Rebecca, David, Peter and Naomi. Loving wife of Brian. Proud Nanna to William, Alfred and Felix
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday 23rd June 2016. She battled for two and half years with Frontotemporal Dementia and Motor Neurone Disease. She bravely fought and continued to smile and laugh despite great disability. Over her life she served as a carer for so many people, whilst simultaneously, calmly nurturing her own family.
She was a loving, giving, humble support for so many people and was always dedicated to caring for children. She raised and inspired her own children, taught so many others during her teaching in schools, volunteered in creche and babysitting, providing support for countless young families.
Sharon had a strong Christian faith which she demonstrated in her deeds with her gentle and quiet spirit. She will continue to be loved and live on in all of the many people's lives that she touched.

Sharon, I have so many happy memories of working alongside you. You were every thing that a child needed in a classroom and so much more. I feel very privileged to have learnt from you and taught with you. Much love, Teresa.
